There’s a new update for Outlaw that includes a couple fixes and a new way to look up documentation that’s pretty handy. Grab the new version from the download page.
Select a part of the framework in your code, such as display.newImage or transition.to and then hold Option (or Alt on Windows) and click the highlighted text — your web browser should open to the page for that part of the framework.
Some things to know:
- This is a beta feature (but it’s working pretty well for me)
- Don’t highlight the parentheses or any parameters, just the framework/library word(s) itself.
- If using Moai, only highlight the class name, not the function. For example, only highlight MOAITileDeck2D and not MOAITileDeck2D.setQuad (not my fault, the Moai guys have a weird API web setup).
Fixed –#library libName so it actually works correctly. Der!
Renamed cpmusertweaks.txt in Windows build.
Removed strange red triangle that showed up when you clicked the gutter near the line numbers.
Changed secret documentation click thing to work well (and for Moai, too) BETA
