Outlaw was originally designed to work only with the Corona SDK framework, but more options have been added. However, out of the box it only knows about Corona, so if you want to use Moai or another framework that Outlaw supports, you have to let the program know about it.
Launch Outlaw and go into Preferences > Advanced and look for a line in the first column of the list called frameworks.
Note: If you don’t see frameworks in the list, click the Add New Preference button in the upper-right and a new line will appear at the bottom of the list. Click “unititled” in the first column and change that to frameworks (all lowercase) then click “unspecified” in the second column and change that to the following:
The second column of the framework line shows the frameworks you want to work with. The only publicly available frameworks for use with Outlaw right now are Corona SDK and Moai SDK. Put what you want to use in the second column, separated by commas. Make sure you leave the spelling and spacing the same as you see here.
This is what it looks like on my copy (I have test frameworks going that are not publicly available at this time):
Then click OK in the Preferences window and you should be able to start using Moai or Corona as you like.
